This month we have been doing lots of work based on the theme of 'The Zoo'. For art, we made lots of animal patterns. We used marbles and paint to make the stripes on our zebras and we also printed the spotted pattern of our giraffes using bubble wrap. We practiced our cutting, tearing and pasting skills when we made a paper and felt lion's mane to stick on a photo of our faces. ROOAAAR!🦁
We read lots of stories based around animals that live in the Zoo and then we sequenced the story 'Dear Zoo'. In May, amongst lots of other things, we have been learning the names of animals and matching their names to animal pictures and to toy animals. Check out our photos to see all of our hard work.
