I am delighted to welcome you to our school website.

Like all that we do our new website is a work in progress - constantly changing, growing and adapting to the needs of our pupils and our school community. We hope you find it informative and you get a taste of what school life is like here in Walshestown National School.

In our school every child matters and we are committed to discovering and unlocking the unique contribution and talents of each pupil. We do our best to develop the spiritual, physical, social, emotional, intellectual, creative and artistic potential of all the children in our care.

We believe our website reflects our best qualities and our warm, welcoming culture of respect, inclusion and diversity. In our school, the dedicated staff work diligently to ensure our school is a place where students feel safe and happy. We believe this is the perfect environment in which your children will reach their potential.

Without the support of our parents we cannot succeed. So we look forward to continuing to work in partnership with our parents in the interest of our children’s all round learning and personal development.
