St. Paul’s N.S., Walshestown recently hosted a very successful and well-attended Internet Safety Talk for Parents, organised by our Parents’ Association in partnership with the Parents’ Associations of Callystown N.S. and Scoil Mhuire, Sandpit, Termonfeckin which coincided with this years safer internet day
The informative session was delivered by Wayne Denner, who provided practical, up-to-date advice on supporting children’s online safety, including social media, gaming, cyberbullying, privacy, and online behaviour. Members of An Garda Síochána also addressed legal aspects of internet use and outlined how to report online concerns.
Parents found the evening extremely beneficial and left feeling more informed and confident in guiding their children in the digital world. We sincerely thank all speakers, organisers, and parents who attended and contributed to such a positive and valuable event.
