Autumn
26th Dec 2021
In September we were learning all about autumn, and in particular hedgehogs. We found out that hedgehogs, along with bats, are the only mammals in Ireland that hibernate.
We made hedgehogs using potatoes and cocktail sticks for the prickly spines. We also painted hedgehogs and sewed on a zig zag pattern. This was very tricky for our little fingers, but we worked hard over several days and we were so proud of our finished hedgehogs!
