Sensory play

2nd Oct 2022

What are the benefits of sensory play?

1. Increase motivation.

2. Decrease frustration.

3. Help regulate the vestibular system.

4. Improve social play.

5. Develop fine motor skills.

Every day we enjoy sensory play together at our Acteboard table. Some of our favourites include rainbow rice, spaghetti worms, glitter puff, shaving foam mixed with paint, water play, feathers and jelly! Exploring different textures is important for our learning.
