This week we celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge in our school — a really special time where we embraced and celebrated ár dteanga dhúchais, the Irish language, in a fun and engaging way.
Throughout the week, pupils explored and illustrated seanfhocail (Irish proverbs), took part in a lively Tráth na gCeist, and learned about fascinating Irish myths and legends. We were so impressed with how confidently the children used their cúpla focal agus frásaí throughout the week. They also enjoyed learning Irish songs and poems, and made a fantastic effort to speak Irish in their daily interactions.
We finished off our celebrations with a wonderful Lá Glas Assembly on Monday 16th March, showcasing all the learning and enthusiasm from the week. 💚
