Last year was an incredible year as Mr Garland captained the Monaghan Hurling team to Championship success winning the Rory Meagher cup. On the same week he won the Official GAA’s Player of the week proving the he has not only talented but can handle pressure. Living his mantra ‘pressure is for tyres’. To top off a very successful year Mr Garland won and Ulster All-Star for hurling on Friday. This is a massive achievement and we in St Paul’s N.S. are incredibly proud to have Mr Garland as a role model to the children in our school. Well Done Mr Garland!!!!!
