Over the past month, we have been doing Maths stations in 3rd and 4th class to encourage the practical element of Mathematics. Using different resources such as cubes, geoboards, tangrams, playing cards, and multiplication bingo games. This also included the children using chalk to draw on the playground to create their own games using Mathematical questions.
We used Chromebooks for the children to experience websites such as top marks, mathsframe and mathsbot. This has helped the children enhance their maths skills in the format of different forms of games. This has worked extremely well and the children had great fun in doing so!
