We were delighted to welcome Louth Councillor Paula Butterly to our school. During her visit, she explained the electoral process at both the local and national levels, emphasizing the importance of casting your vote and making your voice heard.
Our Student Council had the opportunity to share their experiences of voting and their role in decision-making within the school, including initiatives such as changes to our school uniform. Paula enthusiastically took notes on some of their fantastic ideas and suggestions, showing genuine interest in how she could support improvements to enhance their school experience.
A big thank you to Paula for visiting and highlighting the vital role politics plays in shaping our lives. It was a truly engaging and inspiring experience for the children.
