This week Walshestown N.S. celebrated Literacy Week in style. The children sent in photographs of themselves reading in all sorts of unusual places, they created colourful book covers and not forgetting the highlight of the week for everybody, dressing up for World Book Day! Throughout the week the children also engaged in team quizzes, paired reading activities and daily D.E.A.R. time. Well done as always to the children and parents for taking part in our school activities with such enthusiasm!
