On Friday past 5th & 6th class embarked on an enriching visit to Kilmainham Gaol and Glasnevin Cemetery. This was an extremely worthwhile and informative tour and the children really enjoyed the stories and hearing about Irish history. The were enthralled listening to the tour guides tell stories about body snatchers and Irish rebellion historical figures.
The children were excellent and they did our school proud with their knowledge, questions and how they behaved. A great day had by all!
