Irish Catholic Schools Week 2024

29th Jan 2024

We use Jesus as our role model in 5th and 6th class. We realised through our work on the Miracles of Jesus this week that Jesus served and cared for every single person regardless of their age, beliefs, colour of their skin or how much money they had. We will always try to live our lives like Jesus while remembering his special commandment: 'Love one another as I have loved you'.

We completed projects on The Miracles of Jesus which highlighted the ways in which Jesus served others selflessly. We concluded our Friday Assembly with a hymn which asks us all to use the gifts and talents that we have been given. Learning what our gifts and talents are is one way of finding our true vocation and putting them to use for God. Together with Third and Fourth class, we recited a decade of the Rosary daily, asking Mary Our Mother to guide and protect us always.
