Today is particularly significant for many families as their youngest child or only child leaves Walshestown N.S. after many years. On behalf of our school community we extend a heartfelt thank you to the parents amongst this group who have been long serving members of Parents Committee and to those who were an integral part of the organization of so many of our school events down through the years. We thank you for the part you played in making happy memories and positive learning experiences for our pupils.
Today gives us great hope for the future of our society as our kind hearted, caring and talented 6th class pupils leave Walshestown N.S and continue their journey. Among this class we have future decision makers, leaders, inventors, innovators, entrepreneurs, scientists, problem solvers, politicians, environmentalists, artists, musicians, writers, sport stars and technical wizards who have shown us how tough and resilient they are. We are so proud of you and wish you luck with all your future dreams.
