February Roundup
We have been so busy in our classroom this month. We have worked on spelling our own name and learning each other's names by matching nametags to photos. In February, we have been practicing matching our upper and lowercase letters, particularly the letters S, A, T, I, P and N. We started making sets in Maths and putting objects in order of size, starting with the smallest. Our sound bath therapy has been so relaxing for everyone in our room and we have had great fun with Emma using many of our musical skills. Our favourite song is 'Pop the Popcorn' where we put lots of balls into a big blanket and make them 'POP' up in the air.😊. Speaking of songs, we added a new song called 'Shake Your Wiggles Out', into our morning circle time to get us up and moving. We love following the actions and jogging around our classroom table. In February, we have been brilliant at using our choice boards to pick what we would like to play with during free play time. We also printed some rainy day wellie pictures, as we love splashing in puddles on our morning wellie walk. You can see us learning how to roll paint using a roller, and practicing how to use a glue stick in the photos. We hope you enjoy seeing all of our hard work!
