The children of Walshestown N.S. were busy this week creating handmade decorations for the Christmas tree in St Peter and St. Paul's Church. Their decorations, made by each class from Junior Infants to Sixth Class, include colorful paper angels, cut-out snowflakes, dazzling lollipop stick snowflakes, vibrant drawings of nativity scenes and advent candles. This art project had a lovely sense of community spirit and the children shared great joy getting into the Christmas festivities. This year's Christmas Eve Mass will be celebrated at 7.30 in St. Peter and St. Paul's Church Walshestown. Everyone is welcome.
