We were delighted to host the Inclusive Imaginations TY mini-company team, which included our very own past pupils Níamh McGrane and Catríona Daly, along with their classmate Edith.
The team visited to read their beautifully written children’s book, True Colours, to the Junior and Senior Infant classes and the two ASD classes. The children absolutely loved it! They especially enjoyed how the story was brought to life with the knitted characters from the book. We were particularly impressed with Catríona's incredible knitting skills, which added a wonderful, creative touch to the storytelling.
📚 True Colours was available to purchase for €9, with 40% of all proceeds going to two incredible charities: Neurodiversity Ireland and As I Am.
Earlier this year, the team proudly reached the Louth Student Enterprise Programme Final, where they were honoured with a Special Award for Education. 🏅
We are so proud of their achievements and were delighted to welcome them back to Walshestown! ♥💙
